ARDUINO
Arduino is an open-source electronic platform or board and the software used to program it. Arduino has a micro-controller and several input/output ports designed to make electronics more accessible to students, artists, designers, hobbyists and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments. An Arduino board can be pre-assembled or, because the hardware design is open source, built by hand.
Many projects can be built over this platform to control LEDs, motors, appliances and also to communicate with other computers, smartphones, sensors, satellites, internet, telephones, different types of media and many more!
Since it is open-source, it allows the user exchange experience, materials, software, ideas and solutions with thousands of enthusiasts around the world. It also has a large availability of affordable components in the market for creation and development of prototypes of ideas and solutions.
